ABOUT  TIM

Having recently graduated with a MArch in Architecture with Distinction from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, I am currently looking for work as a Part II Architectural Assistant, with the hopes of gaining further hands-on experience with the realities of the profession and further developing my creative skill set.

I grew up in the seaside town of North Berwick, where I had a successful high school career before moving to Aberdeen to attend University as an architecture student. From a young age, I have always shown creative tendencies with a passion for art, design and music, having learned to play both guitar and drums at high school.

At University, I've proven myself to be hardworking, highly motivated, and adaptable, taking on the challenge of an ERASMUS semester abroad in Amsterdam during my Second Year. While there, I greatly broadened my understanding of the profession, living in an environment with a very different approach to the design process. I also learned to communicate effectively across language barriers with the international students.

Outside of the University curriculum I was also a member of the RGU Snow society and 57'10 Architecture society. I have a real passion for travel and the experience of new places and cultures, having spent a year living in Australia, 6 months living in Amsterdam and many combined months exploring Europe and South-East Asia
